With the resources of the Portage Public Schools network, students can and should rely on their peers, teachers, or parents for assistance with schoolwork. Relying on Chatbot AI such as ChatGPT only sells the potential of our students down the gutter and robs them of a solid support network that takes time and effort to grow.
Real Board Transparency
A crucial component of the act that is volunteering to server on our school board is active transparency. WIthout transparency, the trust our community has in our representatives weakens, which harms our community.

Koen has spend his life in this community, actively involving himself in the Youth Advisory Committee of Portage, conversing with City Council members, and diligently observing the current board of education members in action.
